nspa Goodies ♥

nspa is a brand that offers skincare, bathing and hair products exclusively at ASDA. These products are high quality, luxurious and your purse will love them! There has been a lot of hype in the blogging world about the quality of these products and their reasonable price tag - so I was intrigued to try them out myself.

'NSPA’s indulgent bodycare, facial skincare and haircare ranges are brought to you by the experts at the UK’s No. 1 Day Spa, Nirvana Spa. Our luxurious ranges are designed especially to treat, care for and de-stress even the busiest people. Created and used by spa professionals, NSPA brings you affordable spa-inspired products to enjoy every single day.'

nspa kindly offered to send me a couple of their products to try out...

After having my first facial when I was 16, I was educated about the importance of exfoliating at least once a week. It was recommended to me to use a gentle exfoliate everyday and a harsher one once a week. I have to be honest, I didn't exactly implement this into my skincare routine from that day forward. In fact my skincare routine is always changing - I'll find new products to try or get a bit lazy with it all. I know, it's bad but I do always take my make up off - so that's all that matter's right?!

After using this Brightening Detox Scrub (costs £4.50 but is currently on offer at ASDA 2 for £8) I honestly felt quite a difference. My skin felt fresher, smoother and it really helped to unblock my pores. As I'm an avid fake tan user, the pores on my face are often blocked but this product really made a noticeable difference!

The other product I was sent was a Nourishing Eye and Lip Treatment, which costs only £3. The dark circles under my eyes are a constant issue of mine, I look like I have 2 black eyes when I have no make-up on! I wrote a post about how I attempt to cover my dark circles a while ago - in fact near the start of this blog (so I apologise for the poor quality photos) - you can see the post here. But instead of constantly trying to cover them up, wouldn't it be lovely not to have them in the first place?

The nspa Nourishing Eye and Lip Treatment smells AMAZING! It claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness. After using this day/night for 2 weeks I can defiantly notice a difference in the puffiness of my eyes. Under my eye is smoother and 'brighter' looking. However my dark circles are still there, to be fair this product doesn't claim to get rid of and it has very slightly reduced them. The cost of this compared to some of the high end 'reduce dark circle' products, makes it great value for money!

I didn't like using this product on my lips, I preferred to apply it to my dark circles. My lips seems to be very fussy and hate it when I change lip balm let alone start applying a nourishing lip treatment! So I just think this aspect of the product wasn't personally suited to my lips.

These products are part of a 4 step skincare routine nspa have created. There products are clearly labelled with the number step they are, I really like this as it's easy for women who don't know much about beauty to carry out an effective skincare routine. The first step is to cleanse, then exfoliate, next you treat your skin and finally moisturise.

Asda have an amazing offer at the moment - the following nspa products are 2 for £8 and some of the products individually are £7!
