Eye of Horus is a brand that I'm relatively new too but I absolutely love the ethics behind the brand. None of their beauty products are tested on animals, contain parabens, their make up brushes never contain animal hair and where possible they stick to natural ingredients. They also pride themselves in delivering their products quickly to their customers, making this brand very accessible to the consumer despite not being sold in shops nationwide.
The Eye of Horus range includes: Eyeliners, Mascaras, Liquid Eyeliner and Eye Liner Sharpener. Their Pencil Eyeliner range is their biggest, with 9 different shades available. The Eye of Horus Jewel Amethyst Pencil Eyeliner* (£13 - you can buy it from here) caught my eye, as it's such a vibrant yet wearable purple shade. The first thing I noticed when I received this product was that the eyeliner pencil is a really good size, I'm sure this will last me a very long time! I also liked the fact that on one of the pencil is the eyeliner and on the other is a smudger. The black eyeliner I've been using for a while doesn't have a smudger, which I've really missed.
'An exceptionally pigmented deep purple shade with purple micro glitter to enhance the eyes and achieve a captivating look.'
I agree with this statement, the eyeliner is really pigmented and has a very good staying power. This stayed on all day and didn't end up down my face - horray!
I've actually found this Amethyst colour really wearable for both the day and night looks. Since receiving this item I have worn it almost every day! Below I've put it along my eyelashes, where I'd usually put liquid eyeliner. It gives a subtle yet different look for the day.
I've also popped it underneath my waterline, which is probably my favourite way of using this eyeliner.
Have you tried any of the Eye of Horus range?
