FOOD: Delicious New Flavours of Choc Shot

I've mentioned my love for Choc Shot previously in my August 2015 Favourites (see post here) and now the love has been widened to the two exciting new flavours - Coconut and Spiced Orange! If you're not familiar with what Choc Shot, on paper it's a liquid chocolate hot chocolate but in reality it's so much more. Some of it's unique features are:
  • 100% natural
  • Sweetened with the award winning Sweet Freedom
  • Only 14 calories per teaspoon
  • Low GI / GL - no energy highs and lows
  • Suitable for diabetics as part of a healthy diet
  • NO artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives
  • GM, dairy & gluten free
  • Certified nut free
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • Made in the UK
Can you understand why I love this stuff so much now?! It's the fact it's so versatile that makes it a staple in our household. You can spread it on toast, squeeze over fruit/porridge/ice-cream/pancakes, use it when making milkshakes or smoothies. Basically you can use it however you wish to - let your imagine run wild!
My favourite way to enjoy Choc Shot during the summer has been with summer fruits and chocolate flavoured frozen greek yogurt - a delicious snack/dessert that is only around 120 calories. But now that we are well into autumn I've been loving creating warming treats using the Choc Shot Spice Orange and Coconut, such as over porridge and as it's original function...a steaming mug of hot chocolate. I mix milk and Choc Shot in a mug, then warm it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. If I'm feeling like a real treat then I'll add some squirting cream and marshmallows, it's so delicious and if you like orange chocolate then the Spice Orange Choc Shot is perfect for this.
Have you tried Choc Shot before?
What's your favourite use for it?
