^All dressed up and ready for the zoo!^
We
hadn't taken Isabella to a zoo/wildlife park prior to visiting Marwell
Zoo and she was so interested in all of the animals, especially the
Meerkats. She kept pointing at them when they'd disappear down a hole,
so cute! Throughout the Marwell Zoo there are plenty of opportunities for children to see the animals without having to be lifted up or even leave the pushchair. There were glass panels, steps and barred walkways. These features enabled Isabella to really get the most out of our day at the zoo.
Throughout Marwell Zoo there are various animal stamps (like the one above) you can collect as you're going round, as part of their Explorers Trial. This is such a fun activity for children and a great way of encouraging younger children to recognise different animals.
We had such a fun day at Marwell Zoo and can't recommend it highly enough if you're ever in the area.
What's your favourite family day out?
Feel free to leave a comment :)

*We were invited to visit Marwell Zoo in return for a review. All opinions are my own and completely honest.
ah great photos! We live in Dorset so visit Marwell a couple of times a year. It's such a lovely zoo with so much to see. My little boy is a big fan of the gift shop!! #picknmix

ReplyDeleteoh we love visiting zoo's. The one in Sydney and Melbourne are our favorites so far! I love it when they have "Display Glass" so that little ones can still see the animals.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your daughter with the Giraffe height chart - really does show how tall Giraffes can get :)
We take our kids to Marwell most years - they love the meerkats, the little steam train and the giraffes! It's a great place, plenty big enough without being too overwhelming. #binkylinky
