CHRISTMAS: For Her Gift Guide 2016

So here is my last gift guide for 2016 and it's one for the adults. I've called this 'for her', but really some of these gifts would be perfect for both him and her. There are treats, more practical gifts and a beautiful piece of personalised art. Let the gift/wishlist hunting begin...

Folk Monogram Stamp from The English Stamp Company (£14) - The custom and art rubber stamps available from The English Stamp Company are such outstanding quality and so sleek in design. Their sturdy wooden handle makes stamping evenly very easy, it also means little hands can help too. We used various stamps from The English Stamp Company when we got married, as they are the perfect way of making wedding stationary personal without the usual hefty price tag. I love the delicate design around the monograms on this stamp, so timeless.
Mojito Gift Set from Quai Sud (€34.95) - If you know someone who likes a party or hosting events then this is such a unique gift that they'll love. Quai Sud do a fantastic range of cocktail gifts, all of which look stylish and appetising. The Mojito Gift Set comes with two mojito glasses, a wooden pestle, one mojito mix in a carafe and some mojito rimming sugar. Everything other than the alcohol to create delicious mojitos!

Spiralizer from Oxo Good Grips (£40) - Spiralizers are such a 'fashionable' accessory to have in the kitchen at the moment and once you get one you really understand why. The ability to spiralize almost any fruit or vegetable really opens you up to a world of healthy meal alternatives. I have had the Oxo Good Grips Hand-Held Spiralizer for well over a year now and I love creating healthy meals for the whole family. We often have a mix of spiralized courgette with pesto and Quorn/chicken for a quick, nutritious dinner. We also enjoy spiralizing sweet potatoes, coating them in olive oil and spices and baking until crispy. They are lighter than chips, just make sure you turn them a lot to ensure they are evenly cooked. The problem I find with the Hand-Held Spiralizer is that it is tricky to do bigger vegetables, such as butternut squash. This is where this bigger Spiralizer comes into play, it is a perfect gift for anyone you know who likes to eat healthily, is on a new years mission to or just enjoys making tasty meals suitable for the whole family.
Christmas 2 Mini Tins from Lily-Flame (£20) - This set is Christmas candle heaven, a scent for everyone and all presented in these beautiful little tins. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to festive scented candles, so many of them can be too scented and give me a bit of a headache. However all three of these Christmas candles are scented to perfection, with enough to fill a room when burning. As for the scents think chocolate, nuts and gingerbread for the Festive Cheer candle, inscense and amber for Ho! Ho! Ho! and sweet evening fields for Silent Night. All three scents are available as individual bigger sizes for £8.95 if one of those catches your eye.
Classic Welly Boot Family Print from This is Nessie (from £18.90 for a family of 4) - If you're on the hunt for a completely unique and personal gift then a print from This is Nessie could be what you're looking for. They don't just do welly boot prints, but also animals and funky footwear. You can personalise every aspect of the prints, so you really can tailor the print to whoever you're giving it to. You can choose the welly design/size, colour of bunting, title, the name underneath the wellies, the number of wellies, whether you add a pet paw print or not, the size of the print, mounted or framed, gift wrapped or not...like I said, you can personalise every aspect!
Sew Your Own Elvis the Elephant from dotcomgiftshop (£8.95) - This is a cute little sewing project, which will leave you with a stuffed Elvis the Elephant toy/small cushion. It would be fun to give someone to make for their child or perhaps as a project they could do together with an older child. The kit contains: a pencil, printed elephant template, pair of scissors, reel of white cotton, pack of stuffing, pins and a needle.
Arctic Mini Kit from The English Stamp Company (£14) - I have another beautifully crafted product from The English Stamp Company, as a gift idea for those careful present wrappers, crafters, Christmas obsessed people we all have in our lives. This Mini Kit contains a very cute penguin and polar bear stamp, along with a blue and black mini ink pad. Everything you need to get stamping the wrapping paper/gift tags/Christmas cards/napkins etc.

What are you buying the adults in your life this year?

Feel free to leave a comment :)

  3. I'm always looking for unique gifts for my kids' teachers at this time of year. I tend to give coffee gift cards and one year got everyone lotions, but with my own allergies to some of items like this I've had to rethink about what I would give to other people when before I didn't think twice. Not sure that I could get these since I'm in the US, but they do give me some great ideas of what to look for this year. #ThatFridayLinky
