HOME INTERIOR: Toddler Girls Bedroom Reveal

Here it finally is...Isabella's toddler bedroom reveal! This post has taken far longer than it probably should to put together; I'll blame the birth of Poppy (though in reality it is more likely to be because I keep finding more things to add and wanting to retake the photos. Are bedrooms ever finished?). We transformed our spare room, which means that every bedroom in our house is finally decorated now. Only 2.5 years after moving in! The room is a really good size, with a large window and old fireplace. Isabella is one lucky little lady.

She choose pink for the walls, but we wanted this to be more on the subtle side so choose a very light pink paint for all four walls. We debated painting the chimney breast a different colour, but decided against it due to time restraints and our indecisive minds. Maybe one day we'll add a complementing colour to break up the pink a bit. Below I've tried to link everything I could or detail where we bought the item from. However, if I've missed anything please feel free to ask - I know from stalking Pinterest that seeing an idea in action makes it a lot easier to get inspiration from.
The chair I painted from this IKEA children's table and chairs set

Blue Floral Storage Boxes from B&M
Floral Crown from Primark
Pink Polka Dot Bunny Ears from Hobbycraft
Fluffy Bunny Ears from Morrisons
Ditsy Floral Handbag from Mothercare
White Bunny Money Box from Poundland
Polystyrene Rabbit from Hobbycraft covered in pink floral tissue paper from Card Factory
Pink Porcelain Rabbit from Tiger
Bunny Rabbit Money Box from Belle & Boo
Personalised Wooden Name Blocks (DIY - tutorial coming soon)
Beach Hut Pink and Blue Photo Frames from dotcomgiftshop
Pink Gingham Curtains from IKEA
White Metal Bed is Antique

Phew! I think that's where most of the main things in Isabella's bedroom were from. The room is by no means finished; we're constantly keeping an eye out for cute little things to add to the room. We managed to pick up quite a few bargains over the weeks running up to decorating her room, which is always a bonus. A lot of shops currently have their summer sales on, so if you're decorating then it is well worth checking them out. Some places I've seen beautiful children's room decorations that you wouldn't necessarily think of first are Vertbaudet and JoJo Maman Bebe.

Where are your favourite places for children's bedroom decorations?

Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)

  1. Such a gorgeous room! I really want to do something nice with Jenson's room as I think it would help spend more time in there at night. Time just always seems to get away from me. We moved in nine months ago and it just keeps being turned into a dumping ground.
