As I look outside my window today all I can see is raindrops falling off rather sad looking tree branches, everything is a shade of either brown or green and it's wet underfoot. However, spring is coming and it won't be long before the birds are tweeting, colourful flowers are popping up everywhere and we can all get back outside in the fresh air. There are already subtle hints of spring arriving, with snowdrops peeking through the damp ground and even the odd daffodil adding a splash of yellow to the landscape. I am so ready for winter to be over with now and for our weekends to be filled with family adventures in the sunshine!
JoJo Maman Bébé has just launched their fun, bright and colourful spring/summer collection for 2018 and it is one of my favourite collections yet. I'm lucky enough to live near to a couple of JoJo Maman Bébé stores, so am always popping in to see what's new in stock and pick up some of my favourites. As I'm a mummy to two girls it's their peter pan collars, floral ditsy prints and beautiful quality that personally draw me in, though when I'm shopping in the boys section for gifts I am always spoilt for choice. The cute animal prints, classic designs and, of course, the Breton stripes are running themes throughout the boys collection.
We were recently given the chance to pick a few pieces from their spring/summer '18 collection, which was not only a dream come true to work but the perfect way to get Isabella and Poppy's wardrobes ready for the sunshine! When I started browsing the collection the first print that really caught my eye was the Summer Ditsy, which was available in a variety of clothing items. The Summer Ditsy Dungaree Dress (£20) is the perfect dress for this time of year because it can be worn with a long-sleeved top and cardigan on cooler days, but then when it gets warmer you can pop a t-shirt underneath and wear it with socks.
Isabella has quite a few JoJo Maman Bébé dungaree dresses because they are just so versatile, wash well and suit almost any occasion. My favourite piece of clothing to pair them with are peter pan collared tops, such an effortless yet cute outfit. The top that Isabella is wearing in both of these outfits is the Peter Pan Floral Collar Top (£14), which is cream and has some very dainty little flowers around the collar. Though I am always drawn to the floral prints, pairing a floral dress and top together could be a bit of an overload, so having some more plain options is perfect.
If, like me, you're a fan of twinning or coordinating your children then JoJo Maman Bébé is a dream because their Kids clothes range from 6 months to 6 years. This means that most of the time you can buy either the same or matching patterns/designs for all your children without having to browse here, there and everywhere for similar items. The Summer Ditsy print is also available in leggings, which come in a two pack with a pair of pink ones too. I thought this would be a fun way to match the girls without their outfits being exactly the same, so Poppy is wearing the 2-Pack Sumer Ditsy Leggings (£16). I always find that their leggings come up quite small in the first few sizes (0-3, 3-6, 6-12 months), which is something worth bearing in mind when ordering sizes.
In the second outfit for Isabella I paired the same Peter Pan Floral Collar Top with their Cord Skirt (£15). She wore this outfit when we visited the Cotswolds recently and it was practical enough for walking around the various pretty villages we visited, smart enough for eating somewhere more special and warm enough for a day outside exploring. Again, a clothing item that can be paired with so many different styles of tops, jumpers, blouses, sweaters and cardigans, all creating a different look.
Isabella absolutely loved that she also got to wear these very cute little pink stripy bows (£4), which come in a two pack and the wider clip at the back makes sure they stay in place all day. Bows are such an easy way to add some colour to an outfit, while being practical when it comes to keeping those baby hairs out of our little ones faces.
As Mother's Day approaches JoJo Maman Bebe are running an incredible campaign called From a Mother to Another (or FAMTA for short), which will hep Syrian refugees living in Lebanon, as well as other families in need. It's the perfect campaign if you're like me and have a pile of clothes your children have grown out of and you weren't sure what to do with them. All you have to do is sort them out into outfits by size, season and sex aged 0-6 years. Then bundle them up into coordinated outfits (should contain four items), place into a labelled clear plastic bag and deliver to your local JoJo Maman Bebe store between the 18th February and 11th March 2018. Also, if you donate two or more outfits you will receive a £5 voucher (valid with minimum spend of £35 and only one per customer). I have been sorting through Isabella and Poppy' clothes, so that we can drop off a selection of outfits that will go to those in need.
What are you most looking forward to when spring finally arrives?
Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)

ReplyDeleteSuch lovely clothes and your photos are just gorgeous! Kaz
ReplyDeleteEverything is gorgeous! I agree with Kaz, your photos are really beautiful. I have 6 yr old twins and even though I don't really like for them to be matchy-matchy it's lovely to have them mix and match in the same styles. I'm going to pop on over to find something cute for them to wear on Easter. x
ReplyDeleteGosh your children are SO cute! I don't have kids so have't discovered this brand, but I'd definitely consider them for the future!
ReplyDeleteThese clothes are gorgeous. It's such a nice idea that they're doing such a good thing collecting clothes for those less fortunate.
