TRAVEL: Flying with children is easy with the Micro Eazy Luggage

Flying with children is easy with the Micro Eazy Luggage

I don't know about you, but just the idea of flying with young children in tow scares me. It's something I've put off since having children to be honest, despite a love for travelling and exploring new places. But when my husband booked a family holiday to Copenhagen for my Christmas present the excitement over took the nerves. Isabella is almost four now and Poppy is 20 months, so they aren't little babies anymore. The risk of them crying throughout the whole flight is minimal and distractions can work a treat. It was just getting them through the airports that made me a bit nervous. When Isabella was around 22 months we went to Iceland as a family of three and I remember the most stressful part of the airport experience was getting through security and encouraging Isabella to go the way we were going!
Thankfully, Micro have these problems solved with their Eazy Luggage (£164.95), which is suitable from 18 months+ with a maximum weight of 3st 1lb. It's a stylish, multi-functional suitcase that is small enough to be used as hand luggage, but has the ingenious addition of a seat for children to sit on too. Children from 18 months can sit comfortably in the seat part of the luggage, which makes getting through an airport so much easier. Both Isabella and Poppy absolutely loved riding around on it and Isabella really enjoyed pushing Poppy on it too. The extendable handle is the perfect height for Isabella to pull; she loved having the responsibility and it kept her occupied too.
The Eazy Luggage is seriously easy to manoeuvre, simple to steer and slim line, making it the ideal travel companion whether you have a child with you or not. This is something I really like about the Eazy Luggage; we can use it when we're going away as a family, as well as if we go away as a couple. The extra support wheels that can be released when you want to use the child's seat are neatly stored away, making the suitcase look like a more standard piece of hand luggage. Also, you can remove the luggage compartment completely leaving you with a trike style device which can be used as a pushchair alternative when on holiday. Micro really have thought of everything when designing the Eazy Luggage.
Another incredible feature of the Eazy Luggage is the design of the interior space, which is an organised lovers dream. We're talking multiple pockets, sections and a larger space at the back, so that your hand luggage can be kept organised and everything is easily accessible. This is a must as a parent because I certainly don't want to be wasting time digging through my hand luggage trying to find the colour crayons or yet another snack. We found that the space inside was ample for what we wanted to talk on our flight to Copenhagen, which included a spare outfit for the girls, entertainment and all of the snacks!
I can't recommend the Eazy Luggage by Micro enough - it made our airport experiences with two young children so much easier and kept them entertained too. What more could a parent want from a piece of hand luggage?
What are your top tips when it comes to flying with children?

  7. I think this is the most convenient and helpful way to travel with kids, traveling with my nephew we had so much to carry and carrying him wasn't the easiest.

  14. Oh my gosh! I absolutely love that case! It's a brilliant idea. Mine is a bit big for something like this now, but I know when she was younger this would have been ideal.

  16. I love the case is also a seat, that's so handy for children. They get tired so easily in airports with all the waiting around (and some airports are absolutely huge, it's a lot of walking!)
