REVIEW: Jooki - The Smart Player with ToyTouch Technology

REVIEW: Jooki - The Smart Player with ToyTouch Technology *Advertorial Content - Gifted Item
Turning up the volume, having a boogie, listening to stories or bringing a performance alive children love to be surrounded by music. A day doesn't go past where we don't have a kitchen disco dance or Isabella wants to show us her latest dance performance. However, to access music children often need an adult to select a certain playlist or song, which in turn limits their ability to be creative with sound. Jooki have created The Smart Player with ToyTouch Technology to solve this exact problem and allow children to safely access music and stories; bringing back their creativity and enabling them to enjoy screen-free time.
Adults are ultimately in control, but the Jooki allows children to think they are in control of their music/story choices all with the clever ToyTouch Technology. The Jooki comes with an array of characters that when placed on top of the Jooki play different music and/or stories. Adults can create playlists for each of the characters by linking up to Spotify, Deezer or MP3 and then children can choose which playlist they'd like to listen to by putting their chosen character on the Jooki. It can be used with WiFi or offline, which makes it completely portable (with 8 hours playtime) and ideal for car journeys, picnics, visiting friends/family etc.
Parents and Grandparents can even record messages or stories and send them via the Jooki app for their children to enjoy. Isabella and Poppy often ask their Daddy to read them a bedtime story, but unfortunately he works late so with the Jooki they have been able to listen to him read them a story each night. It's been so lovely to see how happy they are to hear him reading the story.
The Jooki is durable and splash-proof, so is luckily built to last life with children. There is also the safety aspect that a lot of parents worry about, which Jooki have at the forefront of the world they have created. As a parent you can select the content you children listen to, the volume level the Jooki will play to and set off-times for naps and bedtime. You won't find your children listening to music in the middle of the night, which is such a relief! There is also a headphone jack should you want your children to listen to their choice of music in a more public setting like an aeroplane or on public transport.
Isabella and Poppy have loved taking the Jooki on outdoor adventures, on long car journeys and listening to music in their bedrooms. It has been so easy to set up and control via the app, which has let us stay in control whilst giving them much wanted freedom at the same time. I can't recommend the Jooki enough and love that it takes our children away from screens and lets them be care-free, have fun and dance the days away!
Which songs would your little ones request to have on a playlist?

Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)

  10. This looks absolutely great. Our kids are now old enough to access music on their own, but they would have loved this when they were smaller.

  13. This sounds like a great device - I might get one for Olivia's new bedroom when we moved. Olivia would choose Baby Shark and Senorita and Jack would probably choose History by One Direction.
