DITL: Meeting Friends in London

A few weekends ago we ventured down to London to meet up with some of our friends from university. My husband and I met at uni and were part of the same friendship group, so it's lovely to all meet up again. It doesn't happen often enough because we all live across the country, but it's lovely when it does. I thought I'd do a Day In The Life so you can see what a day in London looks like for us.

7.00am - Isabella woke up and we brought her into our bedroom. At which point she decided she wanted to help make the bed, she's so trying to be a little adult at the moment.

DAY OUT: A Freezing Cold Day In The Capital

Not too long ago Tom and I made the trip down to London for the day, which was a rare treat. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with London - I love everything that you can visit/see/do but the sheer volume of people can be overwhelming sometimes. We visited quieter places this time, which was lovely but did break that rule with a trip to Borough Market. That place is incredible.

VISIT: Chiswick, London

A couple of weekends ago we visited my cousin (and her ever expanding baby bump) in Chiswick, London. I very rarely go to London, however Tom is there almost everyday with work - so our images of London are very different! I was excited to see what Chiswick was like and my cousins new house. I couldn't believe how quiet and 'green' Chiswick was, don't get me wrong it wasn't like a country village but it was so much calmer. There was so much greenery and Chiswick House is certainly worth a visit!
