TODDLER: Little Green Radicals Spring/Summer Collection

We're well and truly into spring now, summer is just around the corner and it can't come quick enough! Days playing in the garden, exploring local parks, days out at the farm and family picnics all make me so excited for the warmer days of summer. There have been quite a few blue sky days recently, which have been enjoyed with playing in the garden or the odd lunch outside in the fresh air. It's not quite warm enough for long days outside yet, but it hasn't stopped us getting Isabella's summer dresses out and eating fresh strawberries in the sun.

I've featured Little Green Radicals previously on my blog (see my post about their autumn/winter range with a much smaller Isabella here) and there new spring/summer collection has some of my most favourite pieces yet. The colourful patterns, thoughtful designs and organic Fairtrade cotton makes for the most beautiful collection for both babies and children. My two absolute favourites pieces from their spring/summer collection are the Pink Shells Diamond Dress (£33) and the Secret Garden Peter Pan Dress (£32.50). I love the colour combination and classic design of the Pink Shells Diamond dress and the floral pattern of the Secret Garden dress. They're both so perfect for summer and could be worn to both special events and family days out. In fact they're both very versatile pieces, they could be paired with socks and cardigan for warmer days or long sleeved vest and tights for cooler ones.
We have both of these dresses in 1-2 years, for reference Isabella has just turned one and they are slightly big on her. Though she can get away with wearing them now, the Pink Shells dress especially is on the larger side around the part where her arms come out. Because of this I'd pair both of these dress with a bodysuit that has straps rather than short sleeves. You can pick this type of bodysuit up very affordable prices from places like F&F Clothing.

The detailing on the Secret Garden Peter Pan Dress is exquisite - the frilling around the sleeves, the peter pan collar, soft pointelle top, poppers on the back that make dressing easier and slight rouching around the waist. They all work together so perfectly creating the cutest summer dress for babies and children.
Both of these dresses are available in 6-9 months all the way up to 7-8 years, which makes it tempting to buy these dresses in every size so Isabella can wear them every summer until she's eight years old! Imagine what Isabella will be like when she's eight?!

Some of my other top picks from their new collection are...

  1. We've reviewed little green radicals before and love their prints. We're always big fans of their AW collections as opposed to the lighter colours. These look pretty though xx #TriedTested
