UNCOMMONGOODS: 15 Gifts for Children under £30

Christmas preparations are now in full swing, with so many presents to buy and food to order. UncommonGoods is here to help with a host of unique, fun gifts for the whole family. Finding that Christmas present that is just perfect for your loved one can be difficult, but with so much inspiration for all price ranges UncommonGoods has something for everyone. It is an American company founded in 1999 with a focus on sourcing unique gifts, designer décor and handmade presents. As they are an independently-owned business it allows them to support causes they believe in through their Better to Give program, so with every purchase they donate $1 to the non-profit of your choice. Since starting the program 12 years ago UncommonGoods has donated over $1 million to charities over the world!

They have also been awarded every year since 2007 for outstanding customer service, which as a customer is such an important part of our shopping experience. In 2015, they even achieved the BizRate Platinum Circle of Excellence Award for such impressive customer service. The combination of unique gifts, donating to charity and excellent customer service is a winner with me!

Some of the hardest people to buy for, in my opinion, are men and I have a lot of them to buy for each year with my Dad, husband and brothers. Luckily, after browsing the UncommonGoods website I found a number of gifts that would be just perfect, including this Make Your Own Hot Sauce Set for my chilli obsessed Dad and the Molecular Gastronomy Kit for my chef brother. But the gift section that really stood out to me was the gifts for children, especially the variety under £30. When it comes to shopping for Isabella and Poppy I always look for gifts that will be enjoyed for a long time, promote creativity and/or imagination and are affordable. I've therefore picked my favourite 15 gifts for children under £30 from UncommonGoods with this in mind...

House Pet Blocks (£12.94)

The one thing to bear in mind when ordering from UncommonGoods is that they are based in New York, America so delivery is more expensive. Your order will be delivered between 4-7 business days, which is a similar time to ordering from within the UK but it is worth checking because there are some products that aren't available to be delivered to the UK. This is clearly displayed next to the 'add to the basket' button on each products page when you have it set to deliver to the UK.

Which is your favourite gift under £30 for children from UncommonGoods?

Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)
