INSTAGRAM: 60 Inspiring Accounts to Follow in 2018

Almost every Friday I enjoy doing #FollowFriday over on my Instagram Stories, along with many others. It's the perfect chance to find new accounts to follow and support the ones I love. As 2017 is coming to an end I thought it would be nice to share the love and pop 60 of my favourite Instagram accounts into one blog post. That way you can enjoy these incredible accounts too! It was hard whittling it down to just sixty because there are so many beautiful Instagram accounts out there. Instagram is such an inspiring (and frustrating...two words... new. algorithm.) platform, with endless special, pretty and magical photos being added each day. Moments are constantly captured and shared, some carefully put together, others quickly captured just at the right moment.

DIY PROJECT: Personalised Wooden Name Blocks Tutorial

As I was putting together this wishlist for our second baby I fell in love with the idea of having our children's names on wooden blocks. At the time we hadn't decided on a name for our second little girl, so I thought I'd see if I could recreate something similar for Isabella's new bedroom. At £5 for each letter block buying them was a more expensive option, especially as Isabella has such a long name! Don't get me wrong there are lots of advantages to buying personalised wooden name blocks, including the use of high quality toy safe paint and the fact that someone else will make them for you. But I like a good old DIY project and if it means saving pennies at the same time then surely it's win, win?

CHRISTMAS: 10 Ways to get into the Festive Spirit

It's that time of year again...twinkly lights adorn doors, trees and windows, presents are being bought, stockings are being hung on decorated fireplaces and preparations for Father Christmas' visit are being made. It's almost Christmas! Though if you're anything like me it's not always that easy to get into the festive spirit, sometimes it can all be a bit overwhelming. As this is the first year Isabella is starting to really understand the magic of Christmas I am feeling the pressure to get us all in the festive spirit. So, I thought I'd share ten of my favourite activities for getting into the festive spirit with children...

RECIPE: Nutella Flapjack - an Edible Gift

Giving the gift of food is almost always received with open arms and a big smile because who doesn't love a tasty treat at Christmas? Now that Isabella is old enough to help with baking I've decided to make a few different edible gifts for family and friend's this Christmas. One of which is these indulgent flapjacks, flavoured with some of our favourite things: peanut butter, Nutella and chocolate. I mean what is there not to love? It is easy to whip up a batch of these, place them in a cellophane bag or gift box with some red ribbon and you have a thoughtful gift for a very affordable price. That is if they make it to the lucky recipients; they're incredibly moreish!

TOYS: The 360° Dolls House from Little Tikes

Playing with a doll's house is such a fond childhood memory for many and children nowadays are still enjoying the imaginary world that can be created with them. Little Tikes have created Tikes Place* (£64.99), which is a doll's house that is not only accessible from 360°, but also includes mini versions of their classic toys and a pull-out garden/patio area. The result is a spacious house filled with various areas for little people to play, including a kitchen, garden, driveway, bathroom, staircase and dining area. It also comes with twelve accessories, many of which are mini versions of popular Little Tikes toys. Who wouldn't want to own a mini Cozy Coupe?

CHRISTMAS: The One-Stop Shop for Everything You Need

Christmas is coming! It really isn't long now, as the days quickly pass us by and the festive to-do list seems to be never ending it can all start to feel overwhelming. The presents need wrapping, house needs decorating, food shopping needs doing, Christmas cards need delivering, mince pies need eating and mulled wine needs drinking. I love this time of year for all of these things, but when it comes to actually doing them all, time seems to be a luxury our busy family of four simply doesn't have. Morrisons understand this and have become the one-stop shop for all of our festive needs.

FAMILY: Cooking Nutritious Meals with the Nutribaby(+)

Life as a family of four is busy at the best of times, so cooking fresh, healthy meals isn't always easy. This is made even more complicated due to the fact that my husband eats meat, I'm a vegetarian, Isabella is a toddler needing low sugar/salt and Poppy is about to start weaning. That's up to four different meals that need cooking, so finding tips and tricks to make life easier is important. Babymoov have recently launched a product that does exactly that, meet the Nutribaby(+)* (£139.99). An easy-to-use kitchen appliance that makes cooking food for the whole family a whole lot easier!
