DITL: Meeting Friends in London

A few weekends ago we ventured down to London to meet up with some of our friends from university. My husband and I met at uni and were part of the same friendship group, so it's lovely to all meet up again. It doesn't happen often enough because we all live across the country, but it's lovely when it does. I thought I'd do a Day In The Life so you can see what a day in London looks like for us.

7.00am - Isabella woke up and we brought her into our bedroom. At which point she decided she wanted to help make the bed, she's so trying to be a little adult at the moment.

DITL: Conkers, family day and rare DVD time together

I have another 'day in the life' style post for you today - this day involved making breakfast together, having some very rare DVD time together and a family day out at Conkers. On the weekend we usually try to have one day sorting stuff out at home/going food shopping/not going too far from home and the other day we'll do something fun as a family, which may involve travelling a bit further away. It's always hard to try and get the balance right between jobs that need doing around the house and having quality family time, we're constantly trying perfecting this.

DITL: Day off work, playing at home and running errands

Today I thought I'd share another 'day in the life' style post. This day was a running errands kind of day, which is usually what one of my days off during the week looks like. We spent most of the day playing at home, with a quick trip into town and spot of baby friendly baking too. These are the most simple days, but some of my favourite.

7.15am - Isabella woke us up and then sat and watched the lightshow on her monitor until 7.30am when we went into her. My husband was working from home on this day, so he got Isabella up while I went downstairs to prepare breakfast. I love this small amount of quiet time to get thing ready for the day, it doesn't happen very often now so I truly treasure it.

DITL: Weekend, Sealife Centre and Meal Out

I love watching 'Day In The Life' (DITL) videos on YouTube, it's so interesting seeing what other people get up to in their day to day life. If I think back to what our days were like a couple of months ago they were so different to now. Isabella napped at a different time, therefore the order we'd do things would be different. DITL are the perfect way to capture what life is like at various stages, so I thought I'd start sharing some of our days. Nursery days, work days, days off and weekends - they're all so different.
