#LITTLELOVES: Tutus, Valentines Baking and Apple Tree Yard

What. a. week. It's been a crazily busy week, with barely a second to stop and take stock. Though lots of things have been ticked off my to-do list, such a satisfying feeling! I think I may have slightly overdone it, as I now feel on the edge of being ill and we're about to go on holiday. Just a slight headache and sore throat, nothing major I'm just really hoping it doesn't develop into anything. We've been on a pre-holiday mass organisation mission this week too, with many lists, phone calls, printed documents and piles of clothes dotted around the house. The run up to holidays is just the best.

CHRISTMAS: Toddler Gift Guide 2016

I can barely believe that Isabella is now in the toddler bracket rather than the baby one (to see my baby gift guide click here). Not that it's a bad thing at all, in fact there is so much fun to be had with toddlers at Christmas. They are just starting to understand, interact and really learn to play. It is therefore helpful to support their desire for learning new things with gifts that do support just that.

TODDLER STYLE: A week of outfits #48

This week has ended up being one of the most social weeks I've had in a while! I went for a lovely meal out with our friends from NCT on Thursday...without the babies. This is a seriously rare occasion and it was so relaxing having a catch up over wine and pizza. I value their friendship more than they probably know, having such a friendly group of fellow mummies who you can share worries/ concerns/ milestones/ achievements and everything in between is so precious. We then had some other very close friends over for a meal on Friday night, hosting dinner parties at home has become the new 'meal out' since having Isabella. I absolutely love hosting and we had such a giggle, this week has reminded me to really treasure all of my amazing and inspiring friends.

FIRST BIRTHDAY: Isabellas Outfits...yes there were two of them!

For Isabella's first birthday I had been searching for her birthday outfits. Yes...outfits, because if you can't wear two outfits on your first birthday then when can you? I really wanted an outfit that showed Isabella was turning 1 and a 'party' outfit for when her birthday party began in the afternoon.

FIRST BIRTHDAY: Gift Inspiration

As Isabella's first birthday is in around a week I thought I'd share some gift ideas that are ideal for first birthdays. Babies are such hard little beings to buy for, with interests constantly changing you really want to find gifts that will last. This collection of gift inspiration are all chosen due to their longevity, outstanding quality and serious cuteness (of course!)

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #28

This week we dropped off the paperwork at what will be Isabella's nursery, which felt like such a big moment. I'm looking forward to Isabella interacting with other children regularly and getting all the new experiences at nursery, but I don't want to leave her. It feels more real now and though she won't be starting nursery for a couple of months I'm already very emotional about it all, many tears have been shed. Just one of those parenting struggles I guess. Other than that we've had a good week, my husband was off for a day so we went for lunch and finally put some curtains up in Isabella's bedroom!

BABY: So many cute Christmas clothes...

While I've been searching for festive additions to Isabella's wardrobe I've come across so many options, all just as cute as each other. I thought I'd put together a collection of festive baby clothes, grouped into their similar themes for you to see what's out there too. I can't wait to get the Christmas jumpers out for Isabella, though I'm being controlled and holding off until December!

INTRODUCING: Little Chickie Baby and Toddler Clothing Boutique

Why does looking for baby clothes become such an obsession? Everyone I know loves shopping for baby clothes, they are just so tiny and cute! I've been loving browsing the Internet for unique baby clothes, especially as we know we're having a girl. I sometimes think if I didn't know the gender would we have bought quite so many clothes? The answer is probably yes but I can pretend that we wouldn't have.

When it comes to cute baby clothes, a fun website and unique clothing designs Little Chickie has it all! Little Chickie is a family run, independent baby and toddler online clothing boutique, which brings a range of unique, fashionable brands to the market. The website is has such a cute design and is one of the easiest websites I've been on to navigate - something I definitely look for, as time is always limited. There's various sections on the website, including: boys, girls, unisex clothing, holiday shop, sale, gift ideas and brands. This makes browsing the beautiful clothing products very easy, which will be dangerous for your bank account but perfect for the lucky recipients wardrobe.
^I spotted this advert in the latest gurgle magazine!^
One brand that really stood out to me on the Little Chickie website was Pigeon Organics Baby Clothing. Their design of baby grows are like nothing I had seen before. They are designed to last between 0-6 months or 6-12 months old, a lot longer than most baby grows. They do this by having a really clever design on the feet part of the baby grow, you can flip over the material when the baby is younger (covering their little feet) and then unflip the material when they get older (exposing their feet). This results in the baby grow lasting a lot longer and gives you the flexibility of exposing the babies feet or not, depending on the temperate and size of the baby. How clever?!

This design is the Baby Girl Romper - Pink Spotty*. You can clearly see here the foot design, as well as the pretty stripy pattern paired up with the spots.

Here are my top picks from Little Chickie...
