I didn't really know what to expect from Padstow, I'd never been and only really heard the hype around how many restaurants Rick Stein has got there. However, when we arrived (on one of the hottest days of the year) and wandered around I soon fell in love - it's so beautiful. It reminds me a lot of St Ives, lots of cute shops, places to eat and a stunning harbour area. We had probably the best takeaway I've ever had from Rick Steins Fish and Chip takeaway. I had the vegetarian option, of a Halloumi burger, which was incredible! Highly recommend it if you pay a visit to Padstow.
