The final day of our holiday was mostly spent driving home, though we did have an eventful trip into Cheltenham and visit a lovely cafe in Kilkhampton, near Bude. I love a good road trip and we've been really lucky as Isabella doesn't seem to mind a longer journey in the car. We spent the morning packing up our things, tidying the cottage and filling the car to within an inch of its life. Just before we left Kilkhampton we visited Annie's Cafe for breakfast, which was in the village. I love supporting local companies and they are often such lovely places to eat. My husband had a cooked breakfast and I had cheesey beans on toast - delicious! If you're in the area I'd recommend a visit to Annie's Cafe.
