CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE: For Her

Today I'm bringing you my Christmas Gift Guide for those ladies in your life. It's all about finding gifts that are indulgent, luxurious and personal because us women need a special treat every now and again!

Lily Flame Girly (Pink) Mini Tins (£20) - Lily Flame have created a vast range of unique scented candles in an array of sizes and designs. There's something so peaceful about having candles burning around the house, especially ones that fill the room with a subtle scent. The Lily Flame candles do exactly that, as well as having relatable names and beautiful gift sets. This Girly (Pink) Mini Tins includes three small candle tins - Dolly Rocker, Blush! and Fairy Dust (one of my all time favourites) - presented in this stylish gift box. All of these mini candles are also available in full size too.

Sensationail Deluxe Gel Starter Kit (£69.99 from Boots) - On a trip to America a couple of years ago I came across Sensationail, an 'at home' gel nail varnish kit. I managed to pick up the starter kit for only $40 in America, a bargain compared to the £69.99 price tag here in the UK. However now I'd be happy to pay that price, I've fallen in love with Sensationail and its long lasting, high gloss nail varnishes. It takes about 20 minutes to paint your nails and set them with the LED lamp. Mine usually last around 2 weeks, perfect as I don't have time every couple of days to paint my nails. If you know someone who loves painting their nails, has limited time or who loves having gel nails at the salon but wants to save money then a Sensationail starter kit would make a lovely Christmas gift. I actually picked up this kit for only £25 in Boots, not sure why but I'm presuming this specific set with glitter has been discontinued.

Grey Enamel Stove Kettle from The Forest & Co (£36) - For the hot drink lovers amongst us this enamel stove kettle would be the most beautiful addition to the kitchen. It's been carefully crafted, with both design and nostalgia at the forefront of creating the finished product. My grandparents had a stove kettle, so this really reminds me of them and their endless cups of tea. The Forest & Co also stock a stunning range stylish and unique homeware, children's nursery accessories, womenswear and plenty of cute Christmas decorations for good measure. Well worth browsing their website if you're looking for a gift for a stylish lady or home interior lover.

Personalised Pottery Painting (prices vary) - Isabella and I have been pottery painting a lot since she was born, I just love capturing her hand/footprints forever. In this design I used three of Isabella's handprints to create a line of elephants and created a grass look with a sponge on the saucer. You could paint on something that is special to the recepient, whether it be an animal or object. It's a personal gift with a lot of thought put into it. To see more inspiration keep an eye out in my other Christmas Gift Guides.

Happy Jackson Sticky Notes (£3.95 from John Lewis) - This set of sticky notes is shouting out to be given to that super organised friend or family member we all seem to have. To be honest I think I am that person in a lot of people's lives, but I'm ok with that. When I was at work I'd get through sticky notes like there was no tomorrow!

Chi Chi Moi Handknit 'Cable' Cover with Hot Water Bottle (£39) - Two things that are really cosy have to be chunky knits and hot water bottles, so when Chi Chi Moi combine them together they create this outstanding quality hot water bottle. The cover is incredibly soft and the matching ribbon adds that extra special touch. Chi Chi Moi have a small group of ladies who knit all of their products including mug cosies, tea cosies and mini hot water bottles. You can really tell that they aren't mass produced and that they're carefully handmade in people's homes, so special!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (100ml pump starter kit £15.50) -I actually received my first Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish from my husband last Christmas and it changed my whole cleansing routine. It's an indulgent thick cream that you massage into your face, then wipe away with one of the muslin cloths that's been soaked in warm water. The muslin cloths provide a gentle exfoliation, while the cleanser is moisturising and creamy. A truly luxurious gift for anyone.

One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book (£8.39 from amazon) -The concept of this book really appeals to me, it's the easiest diary you'll ever try to fill in on a daily basis. There is one line per day and space for five years worth of one line moments. You can enter the year, so it will never go out of date like a usual diary and surely we all have time to write one concise line about each day, every day?

Quai Sud Cocktail Addict Boxed Set (€24.95) -How delicious do these tubes of cocktail mixes look?! The Quai Sud cocktails are so unique, each tube is filled with everything you'll need to create a delicious cocktail except the alcohol. All you have to do is empty the contents into a jug, add the alcohol and mixer then let it macerate for a while. You'll be left with a tasty cocktail and if none of these cocktails take your fancy have a look on their website as they have a huge range!

Oh Snap Chunky Weave Notebook from Urban Outfitters (£20) - The rustic look of this notebook makes it stand out from others on the market. The quality is outstanding, with thick pages of lined paper inside making it a lovely gift for that someone who likes making lists or notes. I know I'd certainly use it to make a list or two!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (£5.99 from Boots) -The recent hype around this product has been intense, especially in the blogging world. Annoying story...I had one years ago that I'd never used, threw it out when we moved house at the end of last year because I didn't know how to use it and have just had to buy myself a new one. (The hoarder in me is angry I tried to be ruthless and threw it out in the first place). This little sponge helps create a flawless finish to your foundation and is really good at smoothing out the many layers of concealer I've piled on thanks to Isabella's waking habits.

2016 Diary (£4.99 from TK Maxx) - It was love at first sight when I spotted this diary in our local store, so it was an added bonus that it's only £4.99. You can also pick this diary up in dark grey, black and purple. There's a gold polka dot Kate Spade diary that has been doing the rounds on social media (it is beautiful!) but it costs £30 from John Lewis. This is a fantastic alternative and a snip of the price too!

Burgundy Checkered Scarf (£5 from Primark) -Who doesn't like receiving a snuggly, oversized scarf? This one from Primark is ideal as it's very affordable, with an autumnal pattern and oversized design. They also have a couple of different coloured tartan scarves too.

Make a Wish Under the Mistletoe Candle (Make a Wish Candle Company £24) - Firstly, lets address the absolutely stunning packaging of the natural plant wax candles created by the family run Make a Wish Candle Company. The rose gold detailing paired with the crisp white label is simply perfect. This limited edition Christmas candle has a wonderful sweet cinnamon scent that fills the room with festive cheer. Each candle in the Make a Wish Candle Company range is based upon a theme, with a complementary fragrance to match. Make a Wish candles don't just make lovely gifts for Christmas; there's a candle for celebrating friendship, marriage, new baby, birthday, mother & child, new year, remembrance, thank you and simply upon a star.
Which is your favourite present from this gift guide?
