This week has been my last week of maternity leave - a full year since I last went to work and I'm feeling a mixture of emotions about the impending return. I'm excited to switch the 'work' side of my brain back on again, though it's going to be a challenge initially - stringing a sentence together can be hard some days! I'm apprehensive about settling Isabella into nursery and just leaving her in general. I've really been trying to look at this next chapter in our lives as a positive thing, after all it's going to happen whether I like it or not. As a result of going back to work I've been thinking about what to do with these BABY STYLE posts. I won't be getting Isabella ready in the morning on the days I'll be working (three days a week), so I'm going to reduce the number of outfits to three per week. This way we can still continue these posts, without putting the pressure on my husband to take outfit photos in the morning before nursery. I hope you'll still enjoy seeing what Isabella wears on three days of the week.

Loving all of her outfits as per usual, my favourites are DAY 3 & 4. The personalised Mother's day vest is so cute and a bargain! I love the Polka dot dress and cardi, even though they are both pola dots they go together well. I love the shades of blue in Day 4s outfit, I'd actually consider my little boy wearing that. I've just recently stopped working after 5 months and doing the style posts became a bit difficult so reducing the amount of outfits you feature is a good idea. Also maybe just do style posts every other week if life becomes too hectic. Great outfits #weekendtotstyle
ReplyDeleteLoving her outfits, as usual! Best of luck with the return to work and I hope Isabella loves nursery. x

ReplyDeleteAw bless you being in your last week of mat leave. I promise going back isn't as bad as you might think and a least you've still got 4 days a week with her :) I work full time so that's why I just do the two outfits on my post a week, it seems to work ok! Loving day 2 and day 5 this week! The dress is adorable and the skirt has such a fab print! Thanks so much for linking up with us and hope you've had a had a great weekend #weekendtotstyle

ReplyDeleteIsabella's outfits are adorable as always - you really seem to have an eye for putting things together. I love that little skirt in the last outfit especially. Good luck with your return to work too - it's definitely a shock after a year of maternity leave! #FunkyKidFriday
