SECOND BIRTHDAY: Bunny Party Pinterest Inspiration Board

As we are now into Spring it has finally dawned on me that our baby girl will be turning two in April! Not such a little baby anymore, in fact it won't be long and she'll be a big sister. How will I already have a two year old? It's clique I know, but time really does fly when you have children. I think the saying that the days are long, yet the years are short couldn't describe parenthood anymore perfectly. Last year I was well into party planning mode by now, as it was a welcome distraction from returning to work. This year is a different story though, time is limited and pregnancy fatigue means no late nights planning away. I'm determined to not let this stop us creating a fun birthday party for Isabella turning two!

As Easter is later this year we finally decided on a floral bunny theme for the birthday party. A slight change from the pure floral theme of last year (have a nosey at Isabella's first birthday party here and here). By choosing the floral bunny theme it means it will be easier to find ample party supplies, as the shops are fully stocked for Easter. It's just a shame the party isn't just after because then a lot of the decorations/accessories would probably go into the sale!

We've got a lot more planning and preparation to go yet, but there's plenty of time. This time around we've decided to hire a local hall, rather than try and squash energetic toddlers into our downstairs. There is therefore a lot more space to fill, which does worry me slightly. We're also not allowed to put anything on the walls, which adds another challenge to the day. I can't wait to start collecting decorations and get my craft on!
