An exciting (and dream, in my opinion!) is happening between LittleLife and JoJo Maman Bébé in the form of a design competition for pre-schoolers. This year marks LittleLife's 10th anniversary and for all of those ten years JoJo Maman Bébé have stocked their backpacks, so the collaboration seems like the perfect way to celebrate their support for each other. On the 1st June 2018 they launched their 'Design a New Backpack' competition for pre-schoolers to take part in, giving them an opportunity to see their design come to life by the end of July this year as well as win £200 JoJo Maman Bébé vouchers!
A pre-schooler's imagination is a wonderful place filled with magical creatures, endless sparkle and the odd slightly scary monster. Isabella is now classed as a pre-schooler and I have the pleasure of entering her imagination on numerous occasions each day. We can often be found dodging crocodiles, being chased by giants or transforming into ballerina fairies. JoJo Maman Bébé and LittleLife want to capture this imagination by inviting pre-schooler's to design a new backpack;
from spiky monsters and futuristic robots to multi-coloured zoo animals, your child's imagination really is the limit.
The backpack is perhaps one of the most well-known LittleLife products (that can come with or without a rein), a parenting essential the moment your baby becomes a toddler. Those early days of toddling around are incredibly cute, but there's no denying it is hard work too. There's simply no sitting down, instead you spend your days chasing after your now toddler and your perception of the world changes. The LittleLife backpacks are perfect for bringing essentials (or in Isabella's case her favourite toys) with you on days out, their eye-catching designs make them easy to spot on your child whilst out in busy places and the backpacks with reins allow you to keep your toddler safe. But having the opportunity to wear a backpack that you've designed makes this such an exciting competition for pre-schoolers.
Now on to the important part - How to Enter?
You can find the design sheet here or head into one of the 90 JoJo Maman Bébé stores to pick one up. The closing date is the 22nd June 2018, so there isn't that long left! A shortlist of designs will then be selected by a judging panel, including the renowned children's book illustrator Louise Tait, LittleLife Managing Director Mark Cobham and JoJo Maman Bébé founder Laura Tenison CBE. The final shortlist of designs will be put to a public vote and the winning creation will be announced at the start of July. Find all of the terms and conditions here.
Good luck to everyone that enters and I'm excited to see the winning design!
If you could design a backpack what would it be?
Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)

*This post is in collaboration with LittleLife. As always, all opinions are my own and 100% honest.
What a super cool idea for a competition! My two would probably design a butterfly or ladybird (daughter) or a shark with a truck (son). Pity my two are now too old for these though!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! That’s such a great competition idea! I’m 20 and I would still try and rock a bag like this haha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea. I must see if I can get entered into this. A dinosaur backpack design would be great for my so plus I could get him some lovely goodies with the voucher.
