TIPS AND TRICKS: January Sale Shopping for Children

If you've read my blog for a while then you'll know I'm a big fan of sale shopping, especially for my daughters. Who doesn't want to save 50%+ off RRP? I fill Isabella's (and now Poppy's) wardrobe with sale purchases every year, which means I only have to properly shop for her twice a year - summer and winter.

HAUL: Toddler January Sale Shopping

The sales have well and truly begun, both online and in-store, in fact many sales are beginning to increase in reduction value now. Every year I start buying Isabella's wardrobe for the next year, so most of these purchases were in 2-3 years. There are even some pieces for our baby due in June, the clothes are so teeny tiny! Other than Next I did all of this sale shopping online over Christmas Eve to the day after Boxing Day. Now putting together the pieces into this post I've realised that I haven't really got Isabella any Christmassy clothes for next year, so I'll be keeping an eye of for further reduced items over the next few weeks.

TODDLER: Next Summer Sale Haul

I thought I'd share what we picked up for Isabella from the Next sale this weekend. We are currently buying clothes in the summer sales in 2-3 years, with the hope that they will fit Isabella next summer. They look so huge, but then I can remember buying her 12-18 months last summer and those seeming huge. It's all relative I guess. I was surprised at how quiet our local store was yesterday and I heard a number of people working there saying how unusually quiet it had been so far. This was obviously good for us sale shoppers as it meant there was plenty of stock and choice. There are also a couple of sale bargains from Morrisons at the end of this post that I picked up this week.

TODDLER: Summer Sale Shopping 2016

It's that time of year again...summer sale shopping! Like most, I love sale shopping and especially when it's for Isabella. The older she gets the harder I'm finding it to buy her clothes that aren't branded with a tv character or Disney - she's not into any of those things so I don't really want to be paying the premium. If you have any good shops/websites that sell non-branded toddler clothes then please let me know below - I'm on the hunt! I've picked all of the items below up over the past week, so hopefully they'll still be in stock if you want to grab a bargain yourself.

BABY: My Last of the January Sales Haul...Probably

So I've been doing some more bargain hunting and sale shopping again. Some of the best bargains are around now, as stores have significantly reduced items in an effort to shift them. JoJo Maman Bebe has currently got some fantastic deals with Christmas jumpers reduced from £22 to £4! Unfortunately these don't seem to be available online and there are mostly smaller sizes in my local stores, but worth checking out your local store. I picked up a lot of these clothes this past week instore, so there are still plenty of bargains to be had. The last four pieces in this haul are gifts - I just couldn't resist their cuteness, tiny sizes and incredible prices! This should be my last haul, though if you have followed this blog for a while you will know how hard I find it to resist baby clothes.

BABY: Boxing Day Online Sale Shopping #1

Though I do love a bargain I'm not willing to always battle the crowds with a pushchair in tow, so this year a lot of my sale shopping was done online on Christmas Eve. It's so much easier and with free click and collect you often don't even have to pay anymore. Also, if you buy online you have the right to return the items but you don't as easily if you buy instore. Basically, there are a lot of advantages to shopping online! As I mentioned in my 'instore sale shopping' post (see here) I've mostly bought Isabella clothes in 18-24 months, so that they're ready for next autumn/winter. I also picked up some really cheap clothes for when she starts nursery, as I don't want her nice outfits ruined there. I've worked at a nursery and know the messy play that goes on!
