DITL: Weekend, Sealife Centre and Meal Out

I love watching 'Day In The Life' (DITL) videos on YouTube, it's so interesting seeing what other people get up to in their day to day life. If I think back to what our days were like a couple of months ago they were so different to now. Isabella napped at a different time, therefore the order we'd do things would be different. DITL are the perfect way to capture what life is like at various stages, so I thought I'd start sharing some of our days. Nursery days, work days, days off and weekends - they're all so different.

WEEKEND: Cromer Beach

Recently we went away with Tom's family for a lovely short break in Norfolk. Unfortunately we could only stay for the weekend due to work commitments, so luckily we got the vote of what to do. We both love the seaside so much, especially as it's where Tom proposed, so our vote was always going to be for a trip to the seaside! Cromer was the nearest beach to where we were staying so off we all went to see the sea. There's just something so special about seeing and watching the sea, I find it so relaxing. I dream that one day we'll live a lot nearer to the beach, other than university I've spent my life in the midlands - the furthest point from the coast!

Our weekend...

Which other British beaches would you recommend for a visit?

WEEKEND: Wildwood and a Canalside Walk

Last weekend was a busy yet relaxing one (can they exist at the same time? I think so). We celebrated my Dad's birthday, went on a canalside walk, had a very tasty meal, planned more aspects of our wedding and I made a sheep birthday cake! Have you ever been to a Wildwood restaurant? You must if you haven't, the food is the tastiest Italian food with loads of more unique dishes - like Wild Boar and Chorizo Burger (Tom's favourite). They have a real fire pizza oven, so you can imagine how good their pizzas are! I can't recommend the restaurant enough if you like Italian food. We also visited Majestic Wines to buy 6 different potential wines for our wedding, as we don't really drink much alcohol it was a shock to see how expensive buying just 6 bottles of wine is!

My weekend...

^Their Raspberry Lemonade and Mint Lemonade are sooo good!^

^Wine tasting for our wedding.^

^The sheep cake I made - it's meant to look like Shaun the Sheep!^

^We climbed all the way to the top, fair to say I was out of breath! *Note to self - do more exercise*^

Have you got any nice plans for this weekend?

WEEKEND: Freezing Canal Walk

Last weekend was the first weekend in over 2 months that we actually had no plans! Not one single plan, event we had to go to or people to see - bliss. I absolutely love spending time with everyone and keeping busy but that odd weekend with no plans are amazing. A time to relax, catch up on TV/wedding planning/creating happy memories together and cook healthy food for the rest of the week. We had a very lazy start to the weekend, we still aren't quite used to the early mornings work brings after 2 weeks off over Christmas. We found some beautiful canal locks to have a walk along, by the time we got to them the sun was almost setting. Perfect.

Nature can be such a beautiful thing...

Do you like weekends with no plans?
