Glossy, Shiny Hair in Two Simple Steps!

I have seen Macadamia Natural Oil products in the windows of hair salons for a while now and always been interested at what the product offers. So when I was kindly offered some to review I jumped at the chance!

If you haven't heard of Macadamia Natural Oil, they are a company that offer 'an exclusive blend of natural ingredients that has been created to provide a range of superior hair care products.  The results speak volumes; Macadamia Natural Oil leaves you with hair that feels so wonderful it could only come from nature'.

'Macadamia Natural Oil infuses two of the world's most nourishing hair oils into a complete professional hair car line to provide the ultimate in hair rejuvenation, straightening, colour, revival and maintenance. Our ultimate passion at Macadamia Natural Oil is to set people free from damaged, dry, frizzy, lifeless or just hard-to-manage hair. Hearing the inspiring accounts of how our products have significantly improved a person's quality of life makes it clear that Macadamia Natural Oil is more than just another pretty hair product line.'

I received the Macadamia Natural Oil Travel Set (about £35), which includes:
  • 100ml Rejuvenating Shampoo
  • 60ml Moisturising Rinse
  • 30ml Healing Oil Treatment
  • 60ml Nourishing Leave-In Cream
  • Healing Oil Infused Comb
  • Sachet of Deep Repair Masque
  • Travel bag
I haven't tried any of the hair oils available on the market yet, so this is my first experience and I'm a convert! I was concerned about how greasy it would make my hair feel and how long the effects would last.

I washed my hair with the Rejuvenating Shampoo and Moisturising Rinse to start with. I loved the smell of them both, just like that amazing smell when you get your hair washed at the hairdresser's! My hair didn't feel any different straight after I had washed it but it did smell nice.

I combined a drop of the Heating Oil treatment with a small amount of the Nourishing Leave-In Cream and worked it through my towel dried hair. Again, smelt amazing but the Heating Oil does have an oily texture, which worried me. So I blow dried my hair as I usually would and it didn't feel any different really, I thought my hair would be transformed to the swoshing adverts you see all the time on TV! But I carried on with drying my hair, once it was completely dry I did feel that my hair had a slightly 'greasy' feel but that might have just been me being paranoid about putting oil in my hair (is it just me or does it feel SO unnatural?!).

BUT then the transformation came, about an hour after I had finished drying my hair my hair felt so soft and looked really shiny! It still smelt amazing too, which is a lovely added bonus! My hair is very straight naturally, which some people may think is a good thing but I would love those gorgeous natural curls some people have! I'd highly recommend these products, if you want shiny, glossy and 'healthy' feeling hair!

Here's a photo of my hair after using the Macadamia Natural Oil treatments:
