Wedding Decorations ♥

We are just starting to look out for/ hunt down some beautiful decorations for our wedding. We're going for a rustic/ vintage theme, as we don't want it to be too serious. A relaxed day where people can just enjoy being in each others company. So far we've found these gems...

A vintage glass bowl from an antique shop in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. It was meant to be £2 but we were buying a blanket box and a couple of other things, so I tried my luck and asked if he could do anything about the prices. He kindly said he would chuck in this glass bowl and some old records we wanted for free! Just shows you can haggle in some shops still :)

We had been looking for some vintage style glass jars to put sweets in at our wedding, we had found some nice ones in TK Maxx but they were £4.99 each for the medium size and £7.99 for the larger size. Then we came across this set in BHS of all places! I so rarely go in there but they had a big sale on so I nipped in to see if there was anything for our wedding and found these! They were better than 1/2 price at only £11.99 for 4 vintage style jars!

Finally, I found these in a brilliant little vintage/ retro shop in Matlock. I had been searching and searching for wooden crates back in March and hadn't found anything that wasn't quite expensive. Tom took my away for my birthday to the Peak District, which involved a trip to Matlock. The shop we found these in was selling them for £5 each! I couldn't believe it, so I went slightly over the top and bought 5! Their uses at our wedding are endless, we might have cupcakes displayed on them or they're perfect for holding cards/ presents.

Planning a wedding really does capture my imagination, I'm constantly thinking of what I could do with the strangest of products!
