FOOD: Cheese Posties - toasties through the letterbox

Cheese Posties is a company with an innovative concept - unique and flavoursome cheese toasties sent through the post, ready for you to make and enjoy at home or work. We're not talking your standard cheddar cheese toastie, the toasties Cheese Posties offer are original and fun! Think classic dishes made into delicious toasties, all with the convenience of being delivered to your door ready to be constructed and toasted.

There is a wide range of both sweet and savoury toastie flavours, many of which I would never have thought to pair together but that intrigue me. My top savoury picks are: Cheesy Garlic Bread, French Onion Soup and Italian Ravioli. My top sweet picks are: Chocolate Cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake and White Chocolate Bomb - just imagine...so tasty! 

The Veggie Lasagne Cheese Posties* (£3.99) comes with a Marinara sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, two slices of fresh bread, butter and a toastie bag. You are also provided with instructions on how to toast the toastie, though I would have also liked instructions on how to assemble it too. I wasn't sure which order to add the contents on the toastie onto the bread to create the best results. I opted to spread both pieces of bread with butter (on the outside), then one piece with the Marinara sauce, the other with the ricotta and finally sprinkled the mozzarella onto one of the pieces. Popped the assembled toastie into the bag and put into our toaster for about 4 minutes. I was worried the outside of the bread would burn before the cheese had all melted, but this wasn't the case. The toastie was crunchy on the outside and full of melting cheese in the middle - cheese toastie heaven! I was also surprised at how much it did taste like a vegetable lasagne too, which happens to be one of my favourite meals. 

Cheese Posties is a subscription service, though you can also buy one-off gifts too. You can specify whether you'd like sweet or savoury, as well as any dietary requirements. They also offer an award winning gluten free bread for those who can't have gluten. It is £3.99 for each delivery, which can be weekly but you can pre-pay in 4 week or 8 week blocks too - saving money.
