CHRISTMAS: Creating a Christmas Eve Box

Last year I saw Christmas Eve Boxes all over the blogging world and was eager to add that to the traditions we would have with Isabella. I love the idea of Isabella opening this special package filled with things for her to enjoy on Christmas Eve, the perfect way to kick of the festivities. I've been thinking long and hard about what Isabella's Christmas Eve Box would include, it needed to be filled with things she would actually use and not just become a box of pointless 'things'. It's filled with some items she'll be able to reuse next Christmas and other things that we can treasure from her first Christmas.

Isabella's Christmas Eve Box includes...

Festive bath towel - Cuddledeer from Cuddledry £26.99

Santa bowl - Matalan £3

Carrot for the reindeer's

Mince pie for Father Christmas

Here's the finished Christmas Eve Box...

Do you do a Christmas Eve Box?

If so, what do you include?

Feel free to leave a comment :)

  2. Cute! I love the towel in particular.

I'm in two minds about Christmas Eve boxes - I like the idea of everyone having nice new pyjamas to wear that night (eh, honestly, so they all look nice in the photos the next day!) and of a book/film to enjoy together before bedtime, but I've also seen a lot of boxes which contain more toys and sweets and THINGS than I ever got on Christmas Day itself (and what parent can afford all that?!). I think there's a balance to be found. But I do like yours. :-)

  3. Cute idea. I think I will wait until next year to do something like that. When she might be able to enjoy the things.
We got a very similar Santa Sack for Maddie. They are so cute aren't they?
