BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #37

I've been back at work again this week and I'm completely exhausted! Reality has hit that when you're a parent there is just no stopping. I leave the house at 6.50am, go to work, pick Isabella up from nursery at 5pm(ish) then go home where I bath her, feed her and put her to bed. Then I have work to do and I'm sometimes able to sneek some blogging in too. By 9pm I'm so tired and have to go to bed, that's my day. No 'me time', time to relax or even time for a hot cup of tea. I feel very lucky that that's only three days a week and not full time, but it's exhausting nonetheless. I have really enjoyed being back at work though - I treasure the time with Isabella more and have liked testing my brain again.
Day 1

Red stripy dress - GAP - £6.95 in the sale
Dotty tights - Aldi - £3 for 2 pack

How do you get a good work/life balance with a family?

  2. Oh I feel your pain! Three days a week I'm out at 8, home at 6 and in bed at 9 then two days a week, while his dad works, I'm up with Jenson about 5.30 and, again in bed about 9. Sometimes all I want to do is catch up on my TV shows and have an hour for blogging. Then I remind myself that in a few years I'll wish I had this time again

  4. Fab outfits as always. I have gone back to work as well but had a change of career and only working 2 days so it is perfect for us. I still get time to see Lucas grow but have a bit of me back x #fkf

  6. I'm back at work in under two weeks and wonder how I will manage too. Juggling family, home and work life is so hard! But like you thankfully I'm back part time aswell. How do full time manage? :(

  7. I love all of this, those leggings are so good. I love the fact you've hand stamped them. That stripey dress is so cute, and she looks fab in the denim one. x #fkf #weekendtotstyle

  9. I feel ya on the no 'me time' front. I work 37.5 hours a week then try to fit in being a mama, a good wife, a good friend and a blogger and YouTuber - it's pretty tough sometimes. Least it keeps us out of mischief haha. Glad to hear you're enjoying work :) A super cute collection of outfits as always. Loving the Red stripe and Blue polka dot combo in the first outfit, the denim dress in the second and the Mustard/print combo in the last one. Thanks so much for linking up with us and hope you've had a great weekend :) #weekendtotstyle

  11. Isabella's outfits are always so adorable. I love those leggings! I'm on maternity leave at the moment but worked full time after having my eldest, mostly whilst pregnant with the second one! It is really hard, and I found it tough only seeing Toby for about an hour and a half a day. It is good to get your brain working again though, and have the chance to enjoy a hot cup of tea! #FunkyKidFriday
