FOR HIM: Christmas Gift Guide 2017

As most of the people I buy for at Christmas are men I am fully aware of how hard it can be to find something they'll actually want and use. My Dad, two brothers and husband are all pretty hard to buy for because most of the time they don't ask for anything! This leaves it all up to me to find inspiration and cross my fingers my chosen gifts go down well.

Personalised Travel Card & ID Holder from NV London Calcutta (£31.25) - This is the perfect gift for anyone who travels a lot, with a range of colours (including: berry red, tan, rich brown, teal, blush, blue and fuchsia) and styles of personalisation to choose from. NV London Calcutta offer an impressive collection of luxurious handmade products ethically produced in Calcutta, using locally sourced materials and suppliers. You can take personalisation a step further with the NV London Calcutta Bespoke Personalisation service by adding a child's drawing, handprint or handwriting onto most of their products. Their product range includes: wallets, briefcases, key rings, cufflink boxes, washbags and purses, so something for everyone and anyone.

Christmas Fa La La La Llama Gift Box from Honeywell Bakes (£20) - Who doesn't want to receive beautiful biscuits for Christmas? Honeywell Bakes have the most stunning selection of biscuit gift boxes available, some of which are available to be personalised too. They also add a fun twist with puns throughout their ranges and a delicious monthly biscuit subscription service called Treat Tribe. The Christmas Gift Sets are also perfect for sending to anyone you might not be seeing over the festive period because the boxes fit through most letterboxes. The combination of stylish packaging and tasty treats makes these perfect for almost anyone!
Mr Natty You've Been Nicked Alum Bar from ASOS (£6) - If the men in your life wet shave then the likeliness is that they nick themselves every once in a while. Having tiny pieces of tissue paper stuck to their wounds isn't a good look, which is where the You've Been Nicked Alum Bar comes in. You wet the bar, apply it to the area that is nicked and then let it do its thing. It will help to stop the bleeding quicker, meaning no more need for tissue paper!

Personalised Family Portrait from ArtHouse Illustration (from £35) - Kat is the very talented lady behind ArtHouse Illustration and she creates something truly unique and special for every lucky recipient. These illustrations are drawn in professional fine liner pens and markers using Kat's original style; creating one of a kind piece of art to be treasured. All you have to do is send over a photo of your loved ones together, along with the title you would like in the banner and let Kat work her magic. She is also able to add people into the photo if, like me, you don't have a photo of everyone together. The photo I sent over for this illustration was only my husband and daughters, so I included a separate photo of me and as you can see the addition is seamless. I have also ordered an illustration of my family for my Dad's Christmas present, including a beautiful quote about the importance of family in the banner. They just make the such special gifts and capture a moment in time forever.
Embrace the Detours Notebook from Home Sense (£4.99) - You can't really go wrong with a notebook; they're useful for so many things and Home Sense has a really impressive range. A notebook can be used for notes, lists, bullet journal, work, meal planner, diary or just to look pretty on someone's desk. To make a notebook more special and personal you could write a message inside and/or put something extra hidden inside, like tickets or a voucher.
Personalised 'Daddy/Mummy and Me' Apron Set from The Little Picture Company (£28) - These matching aprons make such a personal present for a Daddy (or Mummy) because they not only match, but you can also personalise the 'In Charge Of' part of the aprons. Picking things that are specific to the recipient will make this apron set even more thoughtful, such as in our house my husband is the one that adds all the herbs/spices to meals. It his 'thing', so was perfect for putting on his apron. Isabella loves stirring the mixing bowl and of course tasting the baked goods! The set comes with one adult and one child's apron, but you can add on an extra child's apron for £12. If you don't want a matching set then it is possible to buy a 'Daddy's Little Helper' apron in the same design just for a child.
Oxford Shirt from Jack Wills (£59.95) - Giving practical gifts at Christmas becomes more common the older you get. Life is no longer about toys/games, but instead about having a little treat thrown into your day to day life. The perfect way to do this for a man who likes to wear shirts is to treat them to a more luxurious or designer brand that they wouldn't usually buy from. It's a practical gift with a thoughtful, extra special twist. As with all more expensive gifts it is worth shopping around to find the best price; places like ASOS often have sales on designer brands.
Personalised Dad Child Green and Grey Gorilla T-Shirt Set from Little Dandies (£29.50) - Twinning is winning, right? This Personalised Dad and Child T-Shirt Set is seriously adorable and having the option to add names onto each t-shirt makes them even more special. The child's option is available in 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 month babygrows, then each year between 1 and 8 years old. The adult option is available in sizes Small to XX Large, enabling you to choose the combination that most suits your family. Little Dandies have a unique signature stylish with each design hand drawn and then hand screen printed. It is well worth checking out their page on Notonthehighstreet too because there are some items that aren't available on their website.
I have also put together a Gift Guide for Babies, Toddlers and Children, if you're in need of more inspiration.

What are you giving the men in your life this Christmas?

Feel free to leave a comment - I love reading every single one :)
