HAIR: Top 4 Hair Masks

Since about March this year I've been using hair masks every week, as I can really feel the difference after using them. My hair always feels softer, smoother and helps with fly aways. I'm in desperate need of a hair cut, so my hair isn't in the best condition at the moment. There are a lot of split ends and it's really quite long now, so it needs some extra treatment to keep it nourished. I've been using four different hair masks, depending on what I want each week. During the weekend I tend to use a hair mask, as I have a bit more time and fancy a bit of a pamper. These four hair masks offer something slightly different and need to be left on your hair for different lengths of time. Something for every weekend.

This hair mask is really good when my hair feels dry and wispy, it's really hydrating and rich. It takes slightly longer to apply, as you have to keep it in for around 10 minutes. It's definitely one for when you have some time but it's really worth the wait. I try to use this once a month, at least, due to its hydrating properties and it smells lovely too. I also love the fact that they use marshmallow 'to lend a hand nourishing and strengthening'. I don't know how well marshmallow does this scientifically but doesn't it just sound luxurious?

Beever Rich Repair Mask
I really like the Beever hair range, their shampoo and conditioner are fantastic for creating shiny, easy to manage hair. This Rich Repair Mask is a lovely smelling, thick hair mask that is left to work for 20 minutes. Again, you'll need a bit of time for this one but the affects are immediate. My hair is always so glossy, shiny and just feels well looked after. Also, you don't need much of this product for a whole head of hair so I think its good value for money too.

Neal & Wolf Harmony Intensive Care Treatment
This is probably my favourite hair mask at the moment, it's just so quick, easy and effective. You only have to leave this mask in for 3-5 minutes, meaning you don't need to get out of the shower, wait around for a bit and then get back into the shower. I use this one most weekends, as it's not too rich so can be used weekly and once again it smells lovely. Its really hydrating and I just love the feel of my hair after using this.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstruction Deep Conditioner
The Aussie Deep Conditioner is the cheapest of my top 4 hair masks and for me, it has the least affect. Don't get me wrong, I really like this product; it's nourishing, quick to use and does leave my hair feeling soft. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's just not as nourishing as the other three hair masks. Perhaps because it's not defined as a hair mask but as a deep conditioner and it is deeply conditioning. I will repurchase this but more as a mid week treatment, rather than a weekly nourishing hair mask.

Which are your favourite hair masks?
