BEAUTY: Seventeen Miracle Matte Pressed Powder

As part of a recent beauty haul in Boots I wanted a new powder that had a matte finish. After trying the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, which I know a lot of bloggers love but I just don't share that love I'm afraid, I needed another powder for everyday use. I therefore didn't want it to be too expensive, as I get through my everyday make up pretty quickly, so I visited Boots.

I honestly think I have found THE best matte powder for less than £4!

Seventeen Miracle Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99) is so impressive, not only does it create a matte finishes it lasts all day. It's got everything I've been searching for in a powder: reasonably priced, matte, lasts all day, can be used on the go and has a shade perfect for my skin tone. Aren't these aspects of a powder a lot of us are searching for? The packaging is practical with a mirror, applicator and powder all contained in a smart black container. Making this perfect for being in your handbag, although you won't need to pop off to 'powder your nose' mid awkward date anymore!

The staying power of this powder is incredible, after a long and stressful day at work my make up looks untouched. It used to look like I had been put under one of those red lights used to keep newborn lambs warm - melted and smudged! But no longer, people at work have even commented on how good my make up looks at the end of the day!

I opted for the Natural Fair shade, which is perfect for my ever changing skin colour (depends on how much fake tan I have on, however it is always quite pale still). I will definitely be repurchasing this product again, I can't recommend it highly enough!

Have you tried any of the Seventeen Miracle Matte range?

Feel free to leave me a comment :)

  2. I usually use the Collection 2000 loose powder, but I'm in the market for a pressed one - I think I'll be giving this one a try!
