Every season Little Green Radicals seem to out do themselves with even more beautiful patterns and designs. They release a spring/summer collection and autumn/winter collection, both of which are specifically designed to suit the time of year ensuring that our little ones are wearing clothes that are both stylish and practical. Little Green Radicals have recently released their new autumn/winter collection for 2018 and it is probably my favourite collection to date. The magical, mystical and space inspired designs are simply beautiful and the range of new styles are exciting too.
If you're not already familiar with Little Green Radicals then they are a brand that offers Fairtrade and Organic cotton baby and children's clothes in a range of fun, stylish designs. They were one of the first brands in the United Kingdom to get a Fairtrade certification for cotton, as well as being ethical and ensuring a fair wage for their farmers and factory employees in India.
This season Little Green Radicals have launched a range of cosy organic Sherpa lined blankets and coats that will keep your little one warm over autumn/winter, as well as being able to be matching with the rest of their range. The core designs for this season are: Northern Lights, Heritage Check, Cosy Cords, Nordic Forest, Winter Fox, Night Swimming, Winter Blossom, as well as Falling Water and Autumn Forest. I love all of the designs, but my favourites have to be Night Swimming, Nordic Forest and Northern Lights. The combination of peaceful swans swimming, starry skies and woodland scenes all make for a beautiful autumn/winter wardrobe for both girls and boys. Throughout the collection there are deep greens, warming purples and navy blues that enable so many of the pieces to be worn together, a capsule wardrobe dream.
You can't beat a bit of twinning can you? When it came to picking a few pieces from their autumn/winter 2018 collection I was instantly drawn to their organic Sherpa lined reversible coats (£36), which are available in Forest Flowers, Into the Woods and Night Fisherman. I settled on the Forest Flowers pattern, a purple background with delicate little flowers all over in autumnal colours. The pattern print is on one side, while on the other is organic Sherpa giving it the cosiest feel. It can also be reversible, so that the Sherpa lining is on the outside. The poppers make it easy for children to get on and off themselves and it is machine washable making life easier for us parents. Isabella absolutely loves being able to match Poppy and I love them matching too, even if it means I keep getting their names confused when calling them!
Their collection of dresses is impressive for each season because you find different styles, patterns and designs that suit all occasions, seasons and ages. Poppy is wearing the Nordic Forest Little Twirler Dress (£34) that has a super soft pointelle top with elastic cuffs and waist and circular poplin skirt. The extra details on Little Green Radicals clothes are always exquisite and on this dress this includes a tie back detail and cleverly shaped skirt to make it perfect for twirling. Isabella is wearing the Night Swimming Smock Dress (£33), which is based around swans swimming under the sparkling stars at night. It is lined in organic voile cotton, has long sleeves for extra warmth, button opening and made with 100% organic Fairtrade poplin cotton. All of their dresses are available from 3-6 months all the way to 7-8 years, so ideal for matching siblings or filling your child's wardrobe year after year.
