FAMILY: Aldi Baby and Toddler Specialbuys Event April 2018

It's that time again - Aldi are having their Baby & Toddler Specialbuys Event, which is always such a popular one with parents nationwide. The wide range of products available for very affordable prices makes it ideal for stocking up on gifts, activities, bedroom accessories or simply just the essentials. In previous Aldi Specialbuys events I've picked up Nuby bath toys, Organix snacks, book carts, Gruffalo Activity Books and big boxes of wipes (our personal favourites), so it's always exciting to see what the latest event has to offer. The event starts online from Sunday 15th April 2018 and instore from Thursday 19th April 2018, so not long to wait!

TODDLER CRAFT: Play Food for Pennies

Play food can be expensive, but is often enjoyed for many hours by toddlers and children alike. If you're looking at buying some play food then why not try this quick DIY craft activity first? Your children can get involved in making them and they are ready to play with within a few hours. Salt dough is widely used over the festive period for Christmas decorations or capturing little ones hand/footprints. However, salt dough is a brilliantly cheap way of making items for children to play with too. A bag of plain flour is around 40p and table salt is only 29p (prices from ASDA), therefore you can make salt dough play food for pennies!

TODDLER: Summer Sale Shopping 2016

It's that time of year again...summer sale shopping! Like most, I love sale shopping and especially when it's for Isabella. The older she gets the harder I'm finding it to buy her clothes that aren't branded with a tv character or Disney - she's not into any of those things so I don't really want to be paying the premium. If you have any good shops/websites that sell non-branded toddler clothes then please let me know below - I'm on the hunt! I've picked all of the items below up over the past week, so hopefully they'll still be in stock if you want to grab a bargain yourself.

BABY: Last few SALE purchases...

Ok, ok I know that I have done quite a lot of sale shopping but these really are the last few pieces I've picked up in the summer sales this year! I absolutely love a bargain and when I found a free delivery code for Debenhams, it made these purchases even more reasonable. A lot of the clothes below are still in stock, so I've added the links if you like them too. The dresses are 6-9 months, as I thought they'd be good on the run up to winter when paired with a cardigan and tights. I also picked up a couple more items for next summer in 12-18 months, I really hope she is in this size next summer otherwise my forward planning will have failed!
 

BABY: Marks and Spencers Sale Haul

 I've expressed my love for the Marks and Spencer's baby and children clothes many times on my blog - they are always so cute, stylish and excellent quality! Sometimes the downside is the price, they can be expensive. Personally, I find it hard to justify spending over £24 for an outfit that will only fit for a couple of months. So when there's an M&S sale I'm straight onto their website or instore to grab as many bargains as I can get my hands on. 

On the way back from our recent holiday to Cornwall we nipped into Cheltenham for a bit of retail therapy. It actually turned out to be a pretty stressful visit, as Isabella was sick all over me and the floor in Primark, screamed down Marks and Spencer's and was sick on me a couple more times! Shopping isn't anything like it used to be. However we did manage to have a quick browse in the sale section, which was pretty big and well stocked - so if you fancy picking any pieces up I'd head to your local M&S asap. I bought all of these things 2 days ago, so hopefully they should still be available in some stores.  

Anyway, on to the haul...

 

BABY: Aldi Baby and Toddler Event May 2015

It's back, the much anticipated Aldi Baby and Toddler Event. It started yesterday (28th May 2015), so we popped to our local store to see what kind of goodies and offers they had on this time. This is the first baby event Aldi have had since I gave birth, therefore I now know the kind of items we need rather than guessing. Most of the items we picked up are in readiness for weaning, which we clearly won't be doing for quite a few months yet! The Tommee Tippee food pots come in packs of three and were 89p, Sudocrem was £1.79 and the Nuby rattle toy was £2.89. The Tommee Tippee easiflow explora cup was £1.79  and the biggest bargain we bought was this 16 piece mealtime set from Nuby for £3.99. It's filled with plates, beakers, spoons, bowls, snack pots and cups with straws!

BABY: Bargains from current Mother and Baby Events 2015!

If you're a parent or parent to be I'm sure you've not missed the various Mother & Baby events going on throughout the different supermarkets currently. After comparing prices at other stores and on amazon.co.uk I don't think that Morrisons Baby & Child Event offers many good deals at all. If you shop around a lot of their 'deals' are actually more expensive than the usual price at places like amazon.co.uk. There are a range of offers on Johnsons baby products, pampers nappies, huggies wipes, pull ups and drynites but I couldn't find any offers on at Morrisons that were better than other shops.
