Spending time outside in the fresh air is something I have loved embracing since Isabella's been born. It's refreshing for both of us and since Isabella has gotten older she is a lot more inquisitive about the world around her. There's so much to learn and discover! She has shown this interest much more since turning 6 months, which happened to be at the end of autumn and beginning of winter. It's not typically the most ideal time to be exploring the outdoors, as the weather becomes very cold and it's generally a lot more miserable. However we haven't let this stop us enjoying family walks, trips to the park, farm and paddling in puddles!
Isabella has been wearing the Trespass Dimple Babies Faux Fur Trim Ski Suit in Marine Print* (£19.99 - currently reduced to £13.99) for all of our adventures outdoors, which has been perfect. The set includes a jacket and salopettes, so if Isabella gets too warm we have been taking the coat off but keeping the salopettes on as they cover her whole body, just leaving her arms exposed. She's also been wearing the coat when we've made trips into town, I love the print so much and it's super cosy!
The Ski Suit is designed with Trespass Coldheat fabric, which helps to trap heat escaping their body and keep it close to their skin resulting in a warm feeling throughout the day. It is also has 5000mm of waterproofing, elasticated cuffs/ankles and tapes seams, well and truly protecting Isabella from the harsh elements of winter. Allowing us to have fun outside with no worrying about her getting too cold! The microfleece lining and inner padding adds extra comfort, warmth and some protection from little bumps inevitable with exploring the outdoors.
Isabella enjoyed being able to move around easily due to the ski suit not being too padded and the elasticated ankles/cuffs meant her hands and feet were free to aid her crawling. The faux fur lined hood is also fantastic for keeping her warm, protected from the wind and rain.
I can't wait to continue to explore the outdoors with Isabella and her Trespass Dimple Ski Suit, there's so much to discover! You can also pick up this Ski Suit in Soft Pink if you prefer or Trespass have other outerwear for babies and toddlers available, so well worth checking out during these winter months.
Where's your favourite place to explore with your little one?

I love that little ski suit! So tempted to buy one for Bo! I really need to venture outside more with Bo, we live in a lovely rural area but I haven't explored it near enough.
ReplyDeleteThat's such an awesome suit! We love getting outdoors, exploring the farm or National Trust properties xx #MyWildOnes
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cosy - I find separates are better than all in ones for my boys because they've both got such long bodies. And I definitely agree it's good to get out for some fresh air, even in the winter. #mywildones

ReplyDeleteAwww gorgeous pics! We have that exact same suit - bought it for going out to Switzerland in the snow last year with our then turning 1 year old and she still wears the coat now at almost 2 as her winter coat without the trousers. It's fab! #whatevertheweather
ReplyDeleteHello, We explore local woodlands and go off the beaten track a lot with our three children. We were lucky to review a Trespass coat too, it's great quality and super warm, I would buy from them again. Sarah #whatevertheweather
