CHRISTMAS: Gift Guide for Him & Her 2019

CHRISTMAS: Gift Guide for Him & Her 2019
*Advertorial Content - Gifted Items
Grown ups are often tricky people to buy for in one sense, as they'll often ask for 'nothing', but at the same time the reward when they open a present perfectly suited to them is just the best. I try to keep a list throughout the year of things my loved ones have said they like, which makes Christmas shopping a bit easier but there are always more ideas needed. Focusing on someone's interests is a good way to ensure that the gift will be used, enjoyed and cherished. Giving the gift of an experience is another fun way to not only help make more happy memories, but also they bring people together in a time when life is busy. I've tried to include gifts that will suit a range of ages and interests here, so hopefully you find something perfect for your loved ones.

Entry to The Making of Harry Potter Tour and Three Course Meal for Two at Prezzo from Red Letter Days (£125) - Harry Potter fans however young or old will love this gift from Red Letter Days. The Making of Harry Potter Tour at the Warner Bros. Studio is a chance to immerse yourself in the magical world of Harry Potter. There are interactive displays, real props/scenes used during filming, costumes, characters, a seriously impressive structure of Hogwarts and even Butter Beer to taste. This voucher is for two people, however under fives are free to enter so if you are a family with young children then you can all enter for no extra cost. In addition to the tour this gift also includes a delicious three course meal with wine for two people at either the Prezzo in Rickmansworth or Hemel Hempstead. A fun and unique day out for a couple, family or with a friend.

Special Cleansing Gel (£33), Daily Microfoliant (£51), Precleanse (£39.50), SkinPerfect Primer SPF30 (£46.50) and Skin Smoothing Cream (£37) from dermalogica - Dermalogica is the number one choice of skin care professionals and with over 320 awards for their products it is easy to see why they're so highly regarded within the industry. Finding the right skincare routine can be a challenge and often needs to change throughout the year, as the weather warms up then cools down. These five products are the basis of the perfect skincare routine for someone with dry to combination skin, as they work together to rejuvinate, hydrate and nourish. The Precleanse is for kickstarting your skincare routine with it's incredible ability to melt away make-up including waterproof, environmental pollutants, sunscreen and residual products that build up on the skin throughout the day. Then the Special Cleansing Gel adds a refreshing touch while removing impurities without changing your skin's natural moisture balance. Next it is time for the unique Daily Microfoliant, which is a rice-based powder (it smells a bit like rice pudding or baby rice!) that activates upon contact with water to create a skin brightening complex to help balance uneven skin tone and is gentle enough for using everyday. Now it is time to keep moisturised with the Skin Smoothing Cream featuring state-of-the-art Active HydraMesh Technology that provides your skin with 48 hours of continuous hydration. Last, but certainly not least, is the SkinPerfect Primer SPF30 which smooths fine lines, brightens and primes for flawless skin. The velvety formula really does even out skin texture allowing make-up to apply beautifully and the SPF30 protects the skin whatever the weather.

Personalised Winter Knitted Hat and Enamel Mug from Twenty-Seven (£28) - Everyone needs a cosy chunky knit hat during the winter months, making this Personalised Winter Knitted Hat and Enamel Mug from Twenty-Seven the perfect gift to give this Christmas. You can choose from navy or cream for the hat, as well as personalise the enamel mug with the name of the lucky recipient. It is one of many special personalised gifts that Twenty-Seven have for the whole family, so it is well worth checking out what else they have to offer.

Sea Salt Diffuser Oil Set from Norfolk Natural Living (£27) - You know you're an adult when having beautiful scents around your home makes you happier than you could ever imagine. Norfolk Natural Living have a stylish range of Diffuser Oil Sets and Candles in an array of scents, including refreshing Sea Salt, tranquil Rose Garden and calming English Lavender. The Sea Salt scent has a selection of intricate shells within the bottle, while Rose Garden has rose buds and English Lavender has sprigs of deep purple lavender.

Personalised Photo Coasters from The Little Picture Company (£6.95 each or 4 for £22.95) - I absolutely love giving photo gifts at Christmas, especially as I am usually the only one with a camera at events. It is also a drive throughout the year to take photos of loved ones because too often meetings pass without a photo to remember it. When it comes to special occasions giving the gift of photographs is getting more unique these days, as everything goes digital. The Little Picture Company have a stunning range of photo gifts for the whole family, including these coasters that can be bought individually or as a set. Each one has a high quality photograph featured in the centre, as well as a personalised caption in a delicate font. Personally, I've found the quality of photo gifts a bit questionable at times but I can vouch for the outstanding quality of not on these gifts but all products from The Little Picture Company. It pays to shop small!

Philosopher 40mm Watch in Silver with Brown Strap from Nordgreen (£164) - Timeless, classic and outstanding quality is what you can expect from Nordgreen watches. All of their designs are thoughtful, sleek and the impressive range of options allow you to create the perfect watch for you or a loved one. The name 'Nordgreen' has a lot of meaning behind it; the 'Nord' is related to their Nordic identity, as the company is based in the beautiful Copenhagen in Denmark. The 'Green' links to their commitment to being as sustainable as possible, which includes recyclable packaging and partnerships with sustainable manufacturers. They currently have three key unisex watch designs (Native, Philosopher and Infinity) and one limited edition design called Pioneer. All of which have the option for interchangeable straps; the perfect way to create a number of different looks from one watch face. Nordgreen are running an incredible initiative on the run up to Christmas this year; when you enter 'SOCIALBITE' at the checkout you not only get a free watch strap of your choice, but they will give a meal to the homeless this Christmas too. It's just the perfect way to buy a gift and give back this festive season.

I have also put together a range of other gift guides aimed at the whole family, including the adorable babies in your life, stocking fillers that are £10 and under for children, those all important parents and children of all ages.

What is on your wishlist this year?
