TODDLER STYLE: A week of outfits #49

After having such a lovely week last week this one hasn't been quite so good. I've been letting certain things worry/stress me out and I just need to relax. Easier said than done of course, but I've been reading/pinning positive inspirational quotes like there's no tomorrow. I will relax...I'm determined. Other than life worries we've had a general errands week - getting things ticked off my to-do list helps so much. I've also been sale shopping for Isabella (come back tomorrow for my latest haul), which of course is good for the soul.

TODDLER STYLE: A week of outfits #47

Well what a potentially life changing week this week has become in light of the EU Referendum results. I don't want to get into politics on my blog, but I personally found the results shocking and the now uncertain future for Isabella concerns me massively. It's the unknown and hopefully it will all work out for the better, even though it won't be the world I thought Isabella would be growing up in. In other news Isabella has been suffering with post jabs/teething with a reduced appetite, temperature and lack of energy. We've had so many cuddles (the silver lining of her feeling poorly) and she's had the longest naps! Hopefully she'll start feeling better soon, as I miss my energetic toddler.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #46

Another week has flown by and yet it still doesn't seem like summer! When will the sunshine make an appearance and stay?! Trying to keep Isabella entertained inside has its limits, so I can't wait to be able to get back outside more. Isabella's comprehension and vocabulary has improved so much recently, she can now say 'duck', 'hello', 'muma', 'dada', 'kisses' and 'gone'. It's so strange hearing her say actually words, she just seems too small to be able to understand! We've been preparing for Father's Day all week, with various card making activities, cooking and wrapping presents. It's harder now because I organise my husbands Father's Day as Isabella is clearly too young, as well as my own Dad's. Splitting our time fairly is a big cause of guilt for me, but guilt just seems to be a 'thing' once you're a parent...oh joy.

DIY: Easter Inspired Hand printed Leggings

Easter last year passed in a blur of pregnancy, labour and meeting Isabella for the first time, in fact she was born on Good Friday last year. It meant that we didn't get time to eat our body weight in Easter eggs or appreciate all things Spring. So this year I've enjoyed having a much more relaxed run up to Easter and completing a couple of craft projects too. I've written about my new hobby of hand printing baby clothes here and thought I'd create an Easter inspired outfit for Isabella.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #30

In honour of Valentine's Day tomorrow Isabella's been wearing all the hearts this week. Despite the fact that my husband and I don't actually do anything for Valentine's day. It's been a lovely relaxed week, with visits from family and trips to the park. In fact a good couple of trips to the park, which Isabella loved! The swings are her favourite, seeing her smiling makes me very happy so lots more trips to the park are needed in the future. We also braved soft play again and had to drag Isabella away from the ball pool and flashing rocking horse!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #29

This week we went to a new group called Wriggly Readers in our local library and it's fantastic. A couple of people who work at the library were reading children's books and singing songs, all for free. Isabella is a bit young to pay attention for the full half an hour, but she was engrossed for the first 10 minutes and loved the singing. It is the busiest group I've been too! I know that there are a lot of libraries that run Wriggly Readers, so well worth checking out your local area. We also visited the park for a quick play and Isabella had so much fun on the swings, it made me very proud to see her exploring and reminded me how small she really is still.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #24

I'm back with another Baby Style post after a very festive week off. This week it's all about Isabella's party outfits she wore over Christmas eve, Christmas day and Boxing day, as well as ones she wore to family get togethers. It was so nice cracking out the extra special outfits I'd been saving for Christmas, though it's scary to think the next big event she'll be dressing up for will be her first birthday!

BABY: Adding a touch of Christmas to their wardrobe

Festive additions to your little ones wardrobe is the perfect way to get into the mood for Christmas. I've been collecting pieces for Isabella since the sales last Christmas, it's never too early to grab a bargain. Though it hasn't stopped me buying some super cute festive clothes and accessories this year....whoops! Recently I've been loving the supermarkets for Isabella's Christmas clothing, the quality is brilliant and it's so affordable. We picked up the TU at Sainsburys in their 25% off everything sale, so there were some real bargains! Below are some of my favourite pieces I've picked up for Isabella to wear throughout December...

BABY: So many cute Christmas clothes...

While I've been searching for festive additions to Isabella's wardrobe I've come across so many options, all just as cute as each other. I thought I'd put together a collection of festive baby clothes, grouped into their similar themes for you to see what's out there too. I can't wait to get the Christmas jumpers out for Isabella, though I'm being controlled and holding off until December!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #13

We've had such a busy week this week, not a day has passed that we haven't met up with someone, driven far and wide, as well as attending two baby classes. It was our last ever baby massage class this week - Isabella is just to wiggly nowadays! I will continue to massage her at home every now and again because it's such a nice bonding exercise. On another note I've started washing all of Isabella's 6-9 months clothes in readiness - eek!!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #10

This week we started two new classes - baby sensory and baby massage, which has been so much fun. It's such valuable time that is completely focused on Isabella and not on the daily jobs that life throws at you. On baby massage days I've decided that Isabella is going to wear a babygrow, as it needs to be something we can quickly take on and off. She rarely wears babygrows nowadays, so I'm making the most of these days!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #9

Here we are into the first month of autumn and I couldn't be happier. I'm really not a fan of hot weather, so by the time September comes along I can be pretty sure that any 'nice' weather days we do get aren't going to be too hot. This month we will also start weaning Isabella, cue messy everywhere! Therefore I'm making the most of her outfits being clean and stain free, while keeping the darker coloured clothes for later in the month.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #8

Where has August gone?! It's not been particularly warm this week, so there's be a lot of layering, tights and long-sleeves....in August. This has got me excited for autumn, not only for Isabella's wardrobe but for mine too. Despite only just moving into 3-6 month clothes Isabella is already growing out of somethings. I can't believe it, we might be in 6-9 months sooner than I thought.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #7

As the weeks go on it's getting harder and harder to get a photograph of Isabella's outfits - she moves too much and is now trying to sit up! We started the week in one of Isabella's most relaxed outfits, her 'comfies' because it suddenly got really cold. Where's the summer this year? I'm hoping September will be nice and warm, so we can enjoy the outdoors together.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #6

It's been so much fun searching through Isabella's 3-6 month clothes, as I hadn't looked at them since sorting them out at the start of my maternity leave. I was kicking myself when I realised that I had put away the JoJo Maman Bebe leggings in this post with the 3-6 month clothes when they're actually 0-3 months! So she's only worn them once, which I'm so sad about because they're so cute. Ah well - it did prompt me to go through her clothes to make sure I hadn't put away any other clothes in the wrong age range. Perhaps not as organised as I would like to think I am - but I'm blaming baby brain!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #5

This was the week that saw Isabella turn 4 months old and us having to get the 3-6 month clothes out - big week! I'm so excited for her to start wearing the 3-6 month clothes we've got, though she's still wearing some 0-3 months items that have a bit of stretch. We just need the sunshine now, as most of her 3-6 month wardrobe are summer dresses! Also I've only done 5 days of outfits this week, as Isabella had her first cold this week so we had a couple of pyjama days.

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #4

This week we've been preparing for both of our families to come over for a get together at our house. I love hosting, but now having a baby I've learnt that preparation is key! We've had a couple of days that we mainly spent at home making, preparing and cooking things ready for the weekend. I love the fact I can still dress Isabella in babygrows during the day, as there will come a time when they will solely be used as nightwear. I'm making the most of my baby being a baby and not a little human being who wears real little outfits everyday!

BABY STYLE: A week of outfits #3

We're still squeezing into 0-3 months, despite almost being 4 months old! I'm really surprised because Isabella was on the bigger side when she was born but I'm not complaining as we're getting more wear out of her smaller outfits. It's been a busy week, we've been here, there and everywhere! I yet again picked up a couple of things from the JoJo Maman Bebe, but they were further reduced so definitely worth it. There was also the Next sale, you can see what I picked up here. Hope you've all had a lovely week too!

BABY: Next Summer Sale Haul 2015

This is a completely unplanned blog post, but after receiving an email about the Next sale starting yesterday I couldn't not go! Any excuse for a bargain and very much like the JoJo Maman Bebe sale I picked up clothes for next summer. There are a couple of 6-9 month pieces that I thought would be perfect for autumn/winter too. I picked all of this up at two different Next stores, neither of which I visited particularly early. We left the last store at about 3.30pm yesterday and there was still lots of stock, so I'd imagine there would be a fair amount to pick up today (Sunday 19th July 2015). There are also a couple of items from F&F Clothing, Boots and Mothercare that I thought I'd share with you too.
